    What's for dinner tonight?

I am making bolognese sauce (and maybe home-made pasta). My BF is very happy. I haven't made this in years. It really isn't difficult at all to make. It just takes a long time to cook. I broke out the food processor to chop the veggies and prep went very quick. This is one of the first recipes I made for him when we first started dating. I knew after he had my lasagna and homemade pizza he was mine.

If we don't make pasta we'll have it with store bought pasta. I'll also make a nice salad to go with it.

We make homemade pasta at times, too. It is easy with the equipment. We went to Burger King a little while ago, and I think that will last us through the evening.

I just got a new crock pot (my other one cracked) so last night I started a pot of split pea soup. It came out really good! So bread and salad to go with it

Lorie - my hubby would love you -- he likes that stuff . .
I have never ever like anything to do with peas or Chicken noodle soup . . *yuk*~
I think it stems from being forced to each veggie when I was a kid

don't make chicken and dumplings either -- bad bad omen

I bought a small beef roast and cut it up in bite sized pieces and made a crock pot full of chili. I'll make some homemade cornbread to go with it later. The house smells sooo good.

I made a huge batch of chili and froze 3 portions of it.
Today I grabbed one and it's warming on the stove.
We'll have chili and corn chips, or fries, or just chili for supper, depending on who wants what. I think I even have a hot dog left if hubby wants a chili dog.
                Easy supper day.

Haven't decided yet; whatever I can find in the freezer and make between football games. Maybe some popcorn shrimp, potatoes and a green veggie. It will definitely be something quick and easy tonight.

Were having steak fajitas. DH is having some extensive dental surgery tomorrow so he won't be eating anything like this for awhile.

We are just going to snack since we went to Cheddars to have a late Birthday for DFIL and an early Birthday for DH.

Haven't been there in a long time - forgot how good their food is. I had Dijon chicken with grilled mushrooms! They gave me two good size chicken breasts and I could only eat one. But, the leftovers is part of the snacking we will be doing later. No cooking for me!

I made a big pot of vegetable beef soup yesterday. We'll have that and a sandwich. I've been baking Kolachky cookies all day, so I need a break. No cooking tonight for me either!
