Can I ask for prayers please for my daughter?

Katie starts out on her Crucible tonight at 2 AM. It is her final testing for her to become a Marine. It is a 54 hour test of everything she has learned for the past 11 weeks. She will do lots of individual and team challenges. She will finish up Saturday morning and get pinned her Eagle, Globe, and Anchor. We hope to get a phone call on Sunday from her to let us know she passed everything.

    Hugs,

What if you woke up today and the only things you had were the things you thanked God for yesterday? :icon_hug:quilting trish

I will say a prayer for your daughter. And, if it's appropriate, would you please thank her on my behalf for being willing to protect our country? I'm always amazed when young people are this brave.

Please let us know how she does!

My niece just finished her training and was one of the first to get to the phones when the got through with the crucible. She is in her combat training now. She loves it! 18 years old and going for it.We are so proud of her. Is your daughter at Paris Island?
She will be a different person when she comes out. Bethany was and that is a good thing.
Prayers for her. She will do great.

I'll pray for Katie. My daughter went through it a year and a half ago. What's her MOS going to be?

I'll pray for your Katie. My dad was a marine too!
May the road rise up to meet you...
May the wind be always at your back...
May you be in Heaven a half hour before the Devil knows you're dead...

Re: Can I ask for prayers please for my daughter?

Oooohh Rah! It's amazing to know how many women are joining. When I enlisted we were limited to 1% of the total force so there were only 1,700 of us total (officers & enlisted.) Went to Parris Island for the WM Anniversary and was impressed but the training complex. While the women today run the crucible we were required to run 300 YARDS.

She has my prayers and admiration as do all the other currently trained WM's (The Fewer/The Prouder.) It takes a special person to enlist and every honorable service member (present or past) has my respect.
