    No sewing for me today

    ................ well, maybe a few hexis later

    WHY???


    ADELAIDE will be the hottest city in the world today, according to a global forecast by the United Nations.

    Gathering official predictions from around the globe, the UN's World Meteorological Organisation estimated Adelaide's 46C would not be topped in any major population centre.

    Air-con on very low (hope we don't get any power outages) curtain drawn and drinking loads of water. Just popped out to throw some buckets of water on my poor tomato plants and the sweat is pouring off me now!

    Looks like another trip to the beach tonight - even though its packed at 9.00pm as the sun goes down

    Holy cow! You can cook dinner without an oven. Hope it cools down soon!

          If I could send you some of our cold air, I would. I am so tired of winter. I don't do well in cold weather and we don't even have snow!

            I had to look up the conversion also....HOT!!! I wonder if that is any indication of what our summer is going to be.
