    cheap storage containers

Mu solution to storage for scraps are the clear plastic containers that salad greens come in at Walmart. After we finish eating up all the greens I wash them and can never seem to remove all the label glue from the top. But that is ok because I then can adhere another label or even a piece of fabric. They are not all that sturdy but they work for me. And they stack well!....Inspired

Try spreading mayonaise over the area where you have a sticky label left. It make take a it, but the mayo will eventually soften the sticker goo and you can use the dull edge of a butter knife to scrape off the label. This works on anything that won't show grease marks. If the jar needs to sit upright put something under it to catch any drips.

I also reuse the zippered bags that blankets come in. They are great for keeping projects together while collecting the fabric for a quilt.
