    He's on the loose!!!!

Happy Sunday all my quilting buddies!!! I got up at 3 a.m. to discover that one of my daughters mud puppies had escaped from the fishbowl last night. So great,Now I have an 8" mud puppy crawling around my house. Who knows where. I spent several minutes looking for the little critter but no luck. Oh well.
I plan on making me a purse today.Looking at all the neat projects, purses and totes everyone is doing, makes me itch to make me one.If I get it done I will post pics. I hope you all have a wonderful day. Keep on sewing!!!!

I am so laughing about an escaped mud puppy. Did he make a bunch of noise that woke you, Rhonda? I can't quite figure out how a mud puppy could crawl out of a fishbowl. Maybe a cat got him!!!

Our daughter's hamsters got out once and we had baby hamsters running havoc all over the house a few weeks later - right about the time we were in the middle of a big move . . .

Ha ha Nope no cats in the house but that is why they (3 of them) were in the house to begin with. We have 4 cats outside and Holly was afraid the cats would fish them out of the fish bowl.I had them up on top of the freezer and he crawled out and fell to the floor. Long drop too. Kinda funny though. Holly asked me if I thought the big one could get out of the bowl and I said " oh no. No way its to slick. Don't worry about it.My bad I guess I underestimated his climbing abilities. ha ha

I found him cruising across the laundry room floor this morning at about 9. He was covered in dust bunnies.Recon I need to dust under stuff huh? Lucky for me I found him. Or really lucky for him I guess. Ha ha

reminds me of the time I finally broke down and let my boys get a ball python. I get up one morning and he is gone! Uugh I still don't like thinking of it. I made them stay home from school. They were not going anywhere till that thing was found. They finally found him curled up behind the freezer in the laundry room..I still shutter..lol Glad those days are over

Our daughter's python got out once (she was living in an apartment - not at my place ) and several months later this guy in another apartment in the complex came home and lo and behold there was a python laying in his laundry room sunning himself. Lara got he snake back and was asked to vacate her apartment.

Snakes don't bother me at all .don't want them in the house though. If this were a spider I would probably pack my bags and vacate til it was found and squashed!!!! Can't stand a hairy legged spider!!!

                        Re: He's on the loose!!!!

I find this a little amusing, only a little since I have a close friend with a spider phobia, but in Australia spiders are a part of everyday life, I love them. There are only two I kill on sight and that is the Redback (nasty little blighter that lurks in cool dark places, mostly outdoors), and the White Tipped Longbody, this nasty piece of work likes it indoors and frequents discarded clothing and the like. And we all know how good husbands and kids are at leaving clothing lying around. If I were in the eastern states I would also indiscriminately squish Funnelweb Trapdoors as well but we don't have those.

The most venomous spider in the world (we call them Daddy Long Legs) has free run of my house on the basis that his diet includes mosquitoes, and I hate those with a passion. Mind you it's a good thing his fangs are too small to munch on humans.

My daughter had a couple of what you call mud puppies, they are cute, but hers were fussy eaters, I would have lost patience with them. I'm very pleased you found him.
