June 5th and I Thought Winter was Finished. My Bad.

My husband and I drove up to northern Iceland today to stay in the cabin for awhile. These are some pics of the snow left over from winter. We actually had a snowball fight this afternoon.

    Anybody want some?

Oh, the pic towards the bottom of the ditch-it's about 6 feet deep.

Well, you do live in ICE-land... Sorry, I had to. No thanks on the snow though, we've had enough of that old stuff for a few months. They're supposed to get flurries in Labrador tonight I think, not fun at all.

Be careful what you wish for. I think it would make a pretty wicked margarita.

This is VERY beautiful! I know it's cold, but just think the way I always do...you can always put on more clothes. In a state or country that gets so hot you feel like you might catch on fire any minute, you can only take off so much!! Unless...

You have DIRT under all that snow? Who woulda thunk it.

Funny thing is, it was 57 degrees yesterday and 52 today. Not much melting going on. My husband was actually laying out in the sun today, and got sunburnt.

Oh, my! And to think I'm complaining about temperatures in the 100's? Take care!
