Any other Canadian quilters on this site?

I see that the majority of members seem to be from the USA on here. Is there anyone from Canada?

I'm glad to have found this site, but I sort of feel lonely way up here in Canada....lol.

I'm right on the west coast of Canada in beautiful Victoria BC. I'm a 'young' quilter by what I'm hearing from those around me (33 years old). I'm a homeschooling mom of 3 and always have something on the go on my table (that sits in the middle of my house so I know exactly what is going on at all times - even when I'm engrossed in some part of the quilting process!!! Hahaha).

Yes there are a few from Canada here. Sally for one, is from Canada B.C. She is the best thing since bubble gum. Love her dearly.

I belong to Eleanor quit in a day, quiltingboard.com and Missouri is the place I find most of the Canadian quilters.
In the search box top right type in Canadian quilters and it will search all the list..

I'm from Canada, although from Elmira, ON, about 90 min. from Toronto. I've visited your area a few times as my MIL lives in Kelowna, B.C. and my husband's only sister and family live in Seattle, WA...so we've seen the beautiful area you live in on sightseeing detours driving from one to the other.

I'm also a homeschooling mom and a long time quilter although I haven't been very prolific during the last 20 years due to homeschooling and life with a chronic illness.

I'm from Orleans just east of Ottawa, Ontario. Retired, and finally get to quilt. I have sewn all my life, even designed and sold baby products for many years. I always said I would learn to quilt, as my grandma quilted and I always felt her love through her quilts. If I leave anything precious, I want to leave quilts to the family and friends that I love.

Hi, I was in Kjngston in June with hubby to see the Quilt of Belonging. I had the book and wanted to see. Very impressive and even more beautiful than the pictures. The stories behind each block is fascinating. The guides were very knowledgeable. We also learned that it will be on 3 tours in 2017. At the CN tower, Hamilton and 1 other city near Toronto. For others who get the chance to see it, or the very least Google it.

I don't come to the forums all that often anymore, but I just took a quick read of this particular forum...and saw where you live! I have driven through North Augusta so many times....on route to my former in-laws in Oxford Station. My former sister-in-law lived in North Augusta for years. Small, small world we live in!

I live in Hamilton, Ontario, and have for about 8 years. Before that, I lived in Windsor, Ontario for about 40 years, but I am originally from Scotland.
