    -- Talk about a stash . . omg . . I want this . .

    15TubFabric.jpg

I'm going tomorrow afternoon to make an offer on this . . the lady wants 15 bucks a tub - she has 29 + tubs and
a 33 gallon trash can full of Cmas fabric . .

I guess I should clean out my van - just in case . . aye*~

oh . . the lady said - thats it's been in her attic and she's forgotten that she's had all this
fabric . . so this might be a good find

She is willing to let you look inside too before you make any offer right? This could be quite a special treasure for you though and it sounds really exciting!

Great deal... but FYI... for those of US (and that means me especially,LOL).... let's really concentrate on sewing some of this fabric we must have "into something"...I'm so organized now,,, i'm overwhelmed thinking , What to make and how much time i have left to get it all done...

Wonderful opportunity! You do get to look inside first and just pick the tubs you want? I know I have been thrilled to go to some garage sales that say they have quilting fabric and then you get there and it is poly and knit and fleece, etc. Not that I don't love my fleece, but when you want quilter's cotton, it is just not the same. Have fun! I have to admit, I would buy the Christmas fabric, sight unseen - I just love Christmas! Lisa

WoW! SOOO JEALOUS!!! I have looked and looked and looked for people selling stuff like that here, or used sewing machines or whatever, and people just NEVER seem to get rid of it! Good luck! I would think she would let you look inside the bins if she is selling them individually she should let you pick the ones you wish to. Can't wait to see what you find! Even if it's one you're not sure about I'm sure Marilyn or Blondie could put the fabrics to good use?

Life is like a party. You invite a lot of people; some go, some join you, some laugh with you, some didn’t come. But in the end, after the fun, there would be a few who would clean up the mess with you. And most of the time, those were the uninvited ones.

Hope it doesn't smell musty, like Grandma's attic.

Better you than I. There was an ad locally similar only they wanted $100 per tote. I laughed!

I would definitely make sure that this was useable fabric. I'm a great one for buying grab bags of fabric when someone has de-stashed, and quite often get stuff that no one would ever use . . . especially not if you are quilting.

Enjoy your harvest though - sounds as if you have a winner there.
