Surgery Jan is done!

This morning was Jan's surgery, he went in at 07:30 hour, and planning was to have him on the surgery table by nine.
But all went a bit faster and round 10:35 hour the hospital called that all went well!!
Just a minute ago my phone rang again, they had told me they would call me when he went up to his room......so when I answerd I thought it was them........nope it was Jan!
He was a little stoned still, but feeling well and happy that all the waiting is over and that the tumor is gone.
Later this afternoon I will visit him, so thankful that the surgery went well, now we still have to wait on all the results, but the tumor is gone and that is the most important thing for now.
Thanks for your prayers, they mean the world to us.

I had to laugh when you said he was still a bit stoned from the meds. I remember Mike being like that after his wreck. I asked him if there was a responsible adult near by! Lord knows, he wasn't making any sense!

I was awake during the night and realized that with the time difference, it was probably about the time that Jan was scheduled for surgery. So glad to hear that it went well! Klasien, I'm glad you were in your sewing room during the surgery, so that you had something to occupy your mind.
