    Removing rust

I ordered and received a 10 yard roll of heavy cotton webbing. When I received it I discovered someone had secured the end of the webbing with a pin that had rusted. The rust is just a tiny spot in the very center of the strip, but it goes through most of the roll. Does anyone know how to remove the rust stain? I've tried vinegar, lemon juice and peroxide with no luck.. Thanks in advance.

Walmart, and probably others, sell a rust remover liquid that you squirt on then wash out. It will disappear like magic! I know.....might be a mess to wash, dry, iron, and re-roll.......but it works!

That remover is called Whink, and used to come in a brown plastic bottle. I haven't bought any for several years....
TRUTH is seldom appreciated, unless you happen to agree with it. When you don't agree, you just call it rude.

Yes, thank you.......I couldn’t come up with the name. I need to restock my own bottle.
    Working...
