    ...about to die of excitement!!

Our grandboy, Tyler, just asked his longtime girlfriends father for his permission to marry Jamie. He said yes, so Tyler has proposed and she said yes!!!!

I am so proud of them both!

I think so too! He picked it out all by himself!! I was happy when he told me he went and ordered the ring, had it resized, picked it up today then went and talked to her dad before proposing. My heart nearly burst!

Congratulations and have fun with that new quilt. Don't know why you can't sew yet, but if it's due to some type of injury, I hope for a speedy recovery.

Ouch, Pat -- bursitis is indeed painful. Wishing you relief soon. In the meantime, you can spend some time thinking about the quilt design, fabrics, etc. When your knee has recovered, you'll be ready to go. And congratulations on your family expansion. The ring is gorgeous!
