    Pass the aspirin...

Since the schools have been closed due to COVID-19 concerns, DD has been teaching a group of 3rd graders (8- and 9-year-olds) via Zoom. Here's part of the class conversation from today:

"Hey, sweetie! Did you do anything special for your mom for Mother's Day?"
    "Yes."
    "What did you give her?"
    "A headache."

Hope your Mothers Day was headache free!

my 5 year old GD asked her mom what she wanted for Mothers day and her reply was "to sleep in till 8 am" and Grace replied with... we can't do that!

Then yesterday as we were face timing, they were very energetic so mom asked... what do I get for mothers day (the answer they were supposed to give was ... peace and quiet)... she asked a couple of times, Grace was trying to remember and Sara (3 year old) blurts out... You get US!.

I hope she is writing all these down in a book. I would imagine a lot of mothers are getting headaches, lol.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!
