Update on my sister, and a big thank you for your prayers

I'm thrilled to announce that my sister Julie was released from the hospital yesterday and is resting comfortably at home (quarantined) with her family. Since she has been symptom free (from the Virus) for several days, the Doctor expects her to have a full recovery from the virus. The echocardiogram (or whatever they were going to do - I'm lousy with medical terminology) was postponed until she can see her regular cardiologist, as her vitals were strong & stable and the process of moving the huge machine into her room and sterilizing it after they were done was considered to be a non-necessary burden on limited resources - totally understandable everything considered. She'll be on meds for awhile for the blood clot, and to reduce the risk of another, but she's been down that road before so she knows what she needs to do, and what symptoms to watch for.

Prayers were heard and answered, and I can't possibly thank you all enough for your prayers, and words of comfort and strength. God bless you all for your love and compassion!

I'm so happy she's home and with her family. That's the best medicine for her, and you I'm sure!

Caroline, glad to hear your sister Julie is home with her family. Blood clots are scary. I was diagnosed with a PE in 2010 along with have surgery to remove fluid in my lungs as well.
Will continue to keep Julie in my daily prayers.
                  Being home is great medicine!
