    In the news....actually, on the news!!

    The school district here started a program during the shutdown of giving refurbished computers to kids who don't have access to them. They have 2500 laptops to handout!!

    Tiffany and her daughter, Mel (our middle grandgirl) went and got one yesterday. Mel is in AP classes, is a junior, and already being asked by colleges to attend their school!! Here is an article, and their interview! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RHC...AY&app=desktop

      That's great. We had parents in a company donate laptops one year. Boy the school system had a fit about that, but we used them anyway.

        These are all used computers that they refurbished. I'm sure they were either used by teachers or students and became outdated, so were just sitting around in storage. I think it's great they did this!

      This is a wonderful gesture during these challenging times.

      Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.
