    Christmas Eve Friday

Good morning everyone! It's funny when we KNOW Christmas comes this time every year and there is always last minute things to finish before tomorrow. I think I've done a good job at not getting stressed out though. I cleaned off my table last night so I can sit today and rewrite mom's receipe's for my sisters new receipe books. I do have 3 projects I'm working on and knowing they won't get finished before tomorrow, well, so be it.

LOVE going to our church on Christmas Eve. It's a small church with generally about 60 people in attendance with 2 weekly services - that swells to around 120 people on Christmas Eve with every seat filled and even extra seating set up along the aisles. You can hear angels singing when everyone lifts their voices to the Christmas hymns. And when the soloist sings either O Holy Night or Mary (can't remember the rest of the title but know the song) - they bring tears to my eyes. My family will take up an entire pew so we get there early to sit together. When we get home, the kids go their own ways which is fine cause we know they'll come back here to rest their weary eyes. We have been blessed.

Well, have a great day everyone and don't overdo. Slow down and enjoy the next few days and remember the reason for the CHRISTmas season.

    Hugs,

        Merry Christmas everyone!

There are many things to do today, but most important is my family will be together. At this time, I'm waiting patiently for my son to get home (he had a 5 hour drive).

This year has brought many blessings, a few sad times, but mostly good memories.

I agree with Trish, you can't sweat the small stuff.

Thank each of you on this forum for all the support.

God Bless and take care of each of you and your families.

I count each of my quilting friends here as one of the many gifts and blessings that the Lord has graced me with this year. I pray that each of you has the happiest of days, enjoined with your family and friends ~ and that the blessings of the Lord will continue to chase after you in the new year.
