    Happy Wednesday ladies
Much to do today and trying to chill a bit before I head back to work tomorrow. I think my Mom has been spoiling us with a good breakfast each morning. Last night we watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation on DVD - Mom had never seen it. She laughed and giggled so hard, I know it was good for her!

My stars have arrived! I am so delighted with the variety of fabrics and colors. Thanks again to all who participated and for allowing me to join in the fun.

    Check back later.

      Happy Wednesday everyone!

Just one more day to get through at school and thankfully most of it will be spent in an assembly. I always enjoy hearing the choirs singing the Christmas songs. I am blessed that we are still allowed to hear the religious songs in our schools - I think they are especially awesome when children or young adults sing them.

That is a funny movie Blondie. I laugh every time I watch it. My most favorite has to be The Christmas Story with the leg lamp, the family going to a Chinese place for dinner, and those bunny pajamas!

Have to get Odie's requests for last minute yummy meals before I hit the food store tomorrow. We have 5 evenings left with him. He's had his turkey so we'll have ham for Christmas. We were fortunate enough to get a ham from my father. Even though he'll go to my other sister's house for dinner on Saturday, I'll still set aside some ham just for him. We used to all go to her home for Christmas Day, but with all the hording that's been happening at her home, it just isn't possible to seat everyone anymore. We sure miss getting all together on the big day and noone wants to travel 1/2 hour up here - I don't see the difference, but that's the way it is I guess.

Well, have to pick up some milk before I get Katie from PT so I guess I better get moving. It sure is chilly out there and driving a truck with no heat - takes me most of the evening to get warm again.

      Have a great evening everyone!

      Hugs,

Hey gang...been so busy getting ready for the Christmas gathering. Just have to pick up some food items and I am good to go! My whole family arrives tomorrow.
I got my brothers rag quilt done!. I managed to give myself a blister for the snips if you can believe it. I am so lucky to have this time off from work. This afternoon I even got half a wonky quilt top done using the blocks for our summer exchange but have put everything away now as my sewing room is also a guest room.
Tried to attach a picture of it but no luck. I will take a photo of my family holding their quilts on Christmas morning and will try and upload that later. Take care and have a safe night!

Hey friends don't forget to slow down and enjoy the season! How many times have you had to go to the store? The last time I went my son was with me and he said, "Mom. seems like something is missing." I said,"Yeah, I only got makings for Christmas sweets, no meats or vegetables." I know I have been three times this week. and got to go again tomorrow, think I'll buy some food this time.LOL Going to snow maybe ,so better store up on bread and drinks and stuff in case the lights go out. That means everyone else will to so the stores will probably run out of bread and the such. Oh maybe not!! I'm going to a different store this time so people won't look at me funny for having to come back again. LOL Hurry Christmas, I'm tired! LOL
