    Good Thursday Morning!!

    I am up early and getting ready for a day of stitching. I have 2 pillowcases and some machine embroidery work to play with today. Laundry and some other household chores will need to be done, as well. I ran errands yesterday, so I could pick up what I needed sewing wise too, and now I can just stay home and stitch today.
    We still only have the lights on the tree, so youngest DD and I really need to finish up the decorating as the family comes here for Christmas Day!
    I am hoping the mailman brings me the blocks from the swap today! I will be anxiously waiting to hear his truck this afternoon!

    Good morning all.

    Finally got a really good nights sleep last night and feel I can conquer the world today or at least my job.

    Keep seeing all the snow weather. Hope everyone stays safe and warm. It was almost in the 80's here yesterday, but the wind was really blowing. Had several wild fires around, but not close by.

    Made 2 batches of hot rolls after work yesterday for hubby's office party. Our daughter was helping roll the rolls. I laughed when I saw what she was doing. Needless to say, he has some the size of hamburger buns. Those hungry men will enjoy them, thats all that matters. LOL

      Morning!
      Off to speech therapy and then into certain insanity.
      We are making graham cracker gingerbread houses in preschool today. There is early release for the rest of the school for make up parent/teacher conferences. There will be close to 30 kids in the room. There are only 12 preschool students, the rest will be siblings. I may drop off the frosting, tuck my kid under my arm, and run like hell the other way.
      30 kids on a sugar high can not be a good thing.

        Hi Ladies,
        Taggpine you are so funny I know the feeling I worked in daycare centers for years. Every Friday was movie day with a sugar snack I looked like this when I went home at the end of the day .
        NM lady- mmmm I love the smell of fresh baked breads. I'm sure the rolls will be yummy.
        Lola2Ace- I can't think of anything more fun than to get a gift like quilt blocks in the mail. I've never done one this will be my first- the fan block swap I can't wait. I hope everyone else is doing well.

          Are you ladies aware of the loss of Blondies father? Hillbilly sent a message that she won't be on for awhile. The funeral will be on Saturday. Prayers are with you Blondie and with your Mom and your family. If there is anything we can do let us know. Hugs and prayers, Jan L

                Preschoolers on a sugar high. Glad I'm not in that room! I deal daily with 7th and 8th graders who forget to take their medicine or run out of it and they are just as nutsy as those preschoolers.

                Still very cold here in PA, luckily no snow though.

                Prayers for Blondie and her family - I wonder if her Mom is still in the hospital? Haven't heard anything on that.

                Sewing again tonight. Last night I got the blocks all sewed into rows, not to sew the rows together. At least I'll get one of the two table runners finished in time - I hope anyways. One never knows what will be thrown our way - doesn't pay to wait until the last minute.
