Good Morning Everyone....Cloudy and looks like rain in Cana Va.
Insomnia still is causing havoc in my life ..I guess I should of finished the sewing room
instead I sat and played games on FB....bad bad lol!!
What's everyone working on today?? I did go through the albums on here ...Wow at the talent!!
One more cup of coffee and I will actually get dressed ..hehe

Those fb games can suck a person in. I got tired of them when I was spent a good part of my pregnancy in bed.

I am giving my son an un-expected day off from school today. We school year round, so when I feel like having a fun day we can throw them in here and there.

I am still working on my tutorial. It would have been done last night, but my husband didn't go into work at the second job last night. He's still not 100% yet. I did enjoy seeing him drive up the driveway when I thought it would be hours before he was home! Of course, Hamilton probably needed him with all the craziness over at the shop hop. I probably won't be able to go due to only having one car...but maybe I'll take him to work tonight. (See, I just talked myself into something again.)

Good Morning, ladies
I've been up since dark thirty, playing a few fb games (hehe) and trying to get in the forum here. I am still having issues with the connection; not sure who else is.

I've also been working on making a few ornaments and looking through my hoard of patterns, idea book, etc to get something stirred up. Making another pin cushion out of an old sweater - love the re purposing of all things old but still usable.

I feel your pain with insomnia. I have bouts with it regularly; must be a change of seasons and as well in my case, change of life. Ouch!

Rainy here in NC as well - a nice cool and breezy rain which is most welcome since we have been SO hot and dry up until this morning. I have the windows open, a hot cup of coffee, a kitty on my lap - life is good.

Hey guys! I finished my stars last night so I think I will make some more aprons for Christmas. The rain is a welcome sight around here but not 6'' they predict. Gotta go to Joann's (ah heck) to pick up some flannel for baby blankets and a pen to write on my fabric projects. I'll check back later, sweet potatoes!

I like the Micron Pigma pens for writing on my fabric projects. They do a good job if you write slowly.

I am snack mom at preschool today! I think we are having string cheese, grapes, & pretzel goldfish. Yum.

More cleaning out of the sewing space/computer area. I have to be ready for the painting this weekend, & I have A LOT of crap packed in here.

I found my "freebie" Sweethearts and th Colorful Christmas charms I ordered in my mailbox this morning! What a way to start off the day! Great service ladies!

Back to a regular work day...weds. and thurs are our busy day. Last night my killer headache stayed with me until bedtime so go nothing done. Gone today though so tonight i wll get at cutting out some more blocks. Looks like another trip to the fabric store...YIPEE! After I finish my blocks I think I am going to sew up some nightgowns. I lke to mix things up...live on the edge...

Ok I am going thru Jan withdrawl...hmm where are you sweet friend?
Just went down to Dad's to drop off some food and give a hug..
they are planting flowers in between rain drops its nice to see him and my
brother but still hard to go to the house since Mom is gone ...I know one day
at a time. Sally I hope your day is not too busy...amazing this thing called life
can cut into our sewing time lol!!
Toggpine I used to love snack day at school, those are some of the best memories
in fact I dont think I've had goldfish since I stopped making school snacks and lunches
I love we get to hear about children from you girls....Its so true that time flies by so qickley.
Aprons hmmm...I know I should make one that tutorial inspired me to buy the tea towels
and now that I have my embroidery machines...lol all 3 of them set up what a great idea for
christmas.
I'm also not admitting to middle age or men-o-pause lol!! for a reason for the insomnia...I refuse
to have one more thing fall south...or ache...or make me moan out loud when I move ...Im only 47
its just not right to be this whiney ....haha
Thank you girls so much for using this forum....it makes my day when I sign on and Im getting to know my partners in my quilt addiction better

Happy Wednesday afternoon!
Sat and sewed some colorful plain blocks together last night. I just needed some mundane, lazy sewing to do and keep my mind off things.
As some of you may know, my 2nd son is in Marine boot camp right now. His letters home make me miss him more. He is in his 3rd week so things are still pretty tough for him, but it's all I can do is pray for him and write him everyday.
Katie (16) who plays any sport she can get to play in and is very aggressive - on the front line for soccer and shortstop for softball just to name 2 sports she plays - she goes for an MRI tomorrow on her left knee. The orthopedic doctor said it looks like she tore her ACL and miniscus - so we'll find out soon if that means surgery or what?
Think I'll run to the food store tonight and then chill out after dinner with some more basic sewing.

Hi Laura, Sorry about not txting you back. I was driving. Had to get gas in my truck before I got stuck on the road. lol I'll be hanging around. Catch you soon hopefully.

Before I even started quilting I got addicted to this game. It's not on facebook but it is free to play and can be played on any computer. WARNING: This game is severely addictive!

Yeah I keep getting "get on Facebook so you can play the games with us." I play a free game on line and that's all the distraction I need. lol
