I should have 14 if everything goes according to plan. But, when does it EVER?

Don't be shocked and amazed, but we are leaving town on Christmas day for the beach!!! So, there won't be anyone around our table on Christmas day.
I pray when risen from the dead before the Lord I stand; perhaps a crown upon my head, but with a needle in my hand.

Hm, this sounds VERY similar to "Christmas with the Kranks"....are you SURE you've thought this idea through?

LOL, same as last year...very strange...2! If it's nice out, I think we'll pack up a lunch at celebrate it on the beach and maybe catch a whale or two swimming by this year.

                  Re: Christmas Day

Mine will be either 3 or maybe 5 it will depend on weather I have Waynes Mother and her boyfriend over Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Now on the floor hoping for a bite to drop on the floor it will be Max and Skully (dogs) and Tommy (cat). Oh I want Ruby's Christmas Day. Nice and quite on a beach.

                        Re: Christmas Day

Should have 5 minimally. We do Christmas eve here for grown step children, so that is 9 counting all of them, and step grandson and his GF and their 2 babies. Then Christmas morning is at DD's before DGK's wake up to Santa's bounty. Breakfast there then dinner here later. At least that is the plan.

11 here. We have a big party Christmas eve after mass and Santa shows up for the little ones and then Christmas day is just the immediate family for dinner. 11 of us

Usually 14, this year it may be less, one can never tell with the grandson if he is "in" or on the outs with the girlfriend, and my sister and hubby are coming at Thanksgiving time instead of Christmas this year.

If I have it my way, we'll have me and DH, my parents, my brother, DH's parents, his youngest son, and his ex-wife
