Just wanted to drop in and say Hi! I found this site last night while checking out you tube quilting tutorial videos. I love making baby quilts and Christmas tree skirts. Anyone else make Christmas tree skirts?
Hey! and welcome from a Newbie, nope, haven't make tree skirts yet, no tutorial

Welcome, welcome! I've made one tree skirt and need to make another, My style has definitely changed since the last time! Not to mention there is new amazing Christmas fabric out there just waiting for me!
To stitch or not to stitch... There is no question.
I have been making them for years. I was making Eleanor Burn's Diamond Log Cabin tree skirt, but made so many that I started having problems getting everything to stay straight, so figured it was time to try different patterns. My big problem now is finding one I really like and, of course, no one has Christmas fabric out right now. I have a couple tops I just finished that look okay, just haven't decided how well I like them as they are not as big as I would like.
