New to this blog but not new to sewing

Hi, I am new to this blog but have sewn for over 50 years. I enjoy it along with any type of craft project which many are one of a kind one time things. I love to do them but if they are too difficult or a real pain I usually only make them once.
I still work even though I'm close to retirement. I'm sad to say I still have a house payment so until it's paid off I'll probably still work.
I'm looking forward to asking and answering question about issues. Hopefully I can get some pointers and even give a few on problems I've ran into myself.

Welcome from Wisconsin! If you have sewed before you should be able to transition to quilting pretty easy. Basic rule regular sewing all seams 5/8 inch but in quilting all seams are 1/4 inch. Have fun making your first one!

Welcome Carol, from Ontario, Canada and glad to have you here. Great group of people who love to help and are a never-ending source of both inspiration and creativity. Grab yourself a cup of coffee or tea (or something stronger if it's after 5) and have some fun.
