    Intro

Hi y'all. I'm a newbie at doing this but not to quilting..
I'm trying to find out if Jenny has updated her tutorial for the churn dash quilt from 2013, or can anyone lead me in the correct direction. TYIA

Daisy's Picnic, is the 2013 tutorial, It's in the Block Fall of 2016.

I think Karen might have a list of corrections.

    Welcome from sunny Florida!

Hello from Southern California. I am just starting to learn to quilt, at age 61. (I canNOT believe I am that old). I've been married to a wonderful man for 34 years; we have two adult daughters and lost our son at age 24 to brain cancer not long ago. I would love to be good enough at quilting to make one someday from some of his shirts...

I sometimes attend a local quilting class and also learn a lot from youtube tutorials. Just finished my first project—will try to attach a photo. I am learning from my mistakes: I used kind of a see-through backing material (oops), and used a thread color that doesn't blend. But the front looks okay.

            Happy to be here.

Welcome to you too, Lori! The front is the most important thing.

Adding my welcome to everyone else here. I'm from Central Illinois, along the river. I've been actively quilting for 5 years now. I have been sewing since I was a "young Whipper Snapper". (Just having a birthday soon and feeling my age.) I'm sure you will enjoy your time spent here.
