    Re: Dresdon Plate

When I did my first dresdon plate it was perfect. Then I thought I knew it all and my second one didn't lay flat. The problem was that I didn't keep an almost perfect 1/4 inch seam. I redid the seams and it was fine. Good luck.

Also, there is a great tutorial here on the Missouri Star site. Watch it and it will help.

Thank you so much. I will redo my seams and see what happens. I want to make several wall hangings for Christmas so I hope this does the job. Silver Fox

Yup, that quarter inch seam can be a booger. Good luck on trying it again. I am sure it will be perfect next time! Can't wait to see what you make.

Thank you to the ladies who answered my question about the dresden plate. I watched the tutorial again and then took it all apart and did it again VERY SLOWLY and it came out very nice. I can't wait to get started on my Christmas gifts. Thanks again, Silver Fox
