    I'm new!

Hi! I'm Kelley and I am new to quilting~ very, very new! I live in southern California in a small cottage close to the beach. I love gardening, soapmaking, papercrafting, baking, being with friends and family and watching old movies!
I am looking forward to meeting new friends and learning new things and overcoming my fear of failing at making a quilt!

Welcome, from Tacoma, Washington! Many years ago, we lived on Camp Pendleton.....summer most the year! Well, except for the foggy season!

Welcome Kelley from Vermont. Just jump into quilting and never look at attempts as failures, but you should see the attempts as "learning lessons"!
You might also look into visiting a local quilt guild near you to associate with those who have quilting knowledge and can help you get started. https://www.quiltinghub.com/Find/Qui.../In/California
Many of us here on the forum love to share our quilting passion and there are many levels of experience. Don't be afraid to ask questions! So glad you're here!

Welcome Kelley from Canada. Enjoy your journey into quilting. It's whatever you make it, no rules.

Enjoy life and do what makes you happy. Everything else will follow.

Every day I try to do one thing that challenges my comfort zone.

Hello and welcome from New Jersey. I lived in Pacific Beach (San Diego) for a short time. When you said a cottage near the beach, it reminded me of PB.
