    HI FROM WEST VIRGINIA

Hi Everyone!!! I just joined and am looking forward being a part of this forum and learning more about quilting.
I am married with one daughter, who is a joy to both of us.
My hobbies are quilting, quilting and quilting. I have a passion for ALL quilting methods. I guess I prefer scrappy pieced work and hand applique. I hand quilt all my quilts and usually have a stack waiting on the shelf to be completed. UFO'S seem to just happen.....but I do enjoy the entire process. Redtop

Welcome!! Where in West Va are you from? I know we had another newbie last week from W Va as well....wonder if you are close to each other?

I just took a had quilting class last week. Wow, I have a new found respect for hand quilters. Those small even stitches...my fingers are just too big and bulky to get them right....but I'm trying!!!

I live in southern West Virginia, near the Viriginia state line.
Janislynne, I have shopped in Summersville at a very nice quilt shop. I forget the name of the shop, but I went with a small group of quilters to Summersville for a day of fabric shopping. Nice town.

I bet you went to the Quilt Shoppe downtown owned by Vicki Fleer. She participated in a shop hop once, I believe. LOTS of BEAUTIFUL quilts on the walls???? I love to go there. I live just past the Dairy Q and Burger King intersection.
