Newbie - I gave in

Hello,
I am Dawn and I live just down the road from the MSQC. I frequent Hamilton to see the ladies and Ron, and of course pick on the YSGLCG.
I work for the Ag Industry (travel a lot), and grew up on a grain and livestock farm. I learned to quilt when I was 9 from my mom and haven't stopped since. My house is full of 30+ quilts, but I have given away and donated many more.
I hope you enjoy the patterns I dream up as much as I hope to learn from all of you. Minkee Coin Quilt is just a tip of the iceberg!

You LIVE close to MSQC!!!!!!!!!!! How wonderful... I live next to nothing like that. There are days I would love to live in an area that has such great opportunities, but I would be SOOOOO poor. LOL.

Hi! Welcome to the forum Dawn. I am so excited for you to live so close to MSQC. You are soooo lucky!!! The ladies are very nice whenever I have a question about a fabric line. I really enjoy shopping from them. I saw the Minkee Coin Quilt video. It looks like a fun quilt to make. I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful creations.

the nearest quilt shop to me is 45 minutes away. Our Walmart doesn't even carry fabric anymore!!! It's not fair!!!
