Hi my name is Betty. I have been quilting and loving quilts for about 36 years. I llive in a friendly small community in Middle Tennessee near the Cumberland Plateau. We have several quilt shops in our surrounding area and each one is so helpful. Several offer $1 fat quarters. I have a stash that needs to be used but I keep buying more and I understand this is normal quilting behavior. Looking forward to learning from all of you. Thanks Betty

Welcome. I have only been quilting for about 10 years. (Wow has it been that long) I understand about having a stash, mine is mostly in 1/2 yard lengths. I am trying to use it up, but well, I keep seeing new and neat fabric.

Welcome Betty!! I am south of you..just west of Huntsville...small world!! It's great when you have local shops to go to...I have found that the people at local shops (like MSQC) are so very helpful and genuinely interested in what you are working on rather than just being interested in the sale...Michele
