Barbara G here, new to the Forum

    Hi everyone!

I've been quilting/sewing actively for about 15 years now. I've definitely found my passion. I do however only follow patterns. I haven't had the confidence to branch out and just 'go for it' as one of my friends does.
I still work full time, but I look forward to learning more and more from all of you that have the same passion of sewing.

I've been thinking of making a twin size quilt for my granddaughter and trying the Jelly Roll Race quilt. Can someone tell me what size that will make and what I will need for border, binding, backing?

    Thanks so much!!

welcome to the forum and I do so much better following patterns too. I have tried to just wing it, and somehow what I see in my mind is now exactly how it turns out. I am sure someone will chime in with the dimensions you are looking for.

If you look under "Jean Sewing Machine" user notes she has many instructions for these and also have a you tube channel.

      Oh and welcome from Canada.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!
