As one of the other men who lurk and drop in on the forums, welcome! I think it is wonderful that you are making your grandmother a quilt and I hope you go on to make many, many more. Please be sure to post pics of your work and I hope you find the forums as wonderful as I have. There are some really great people here who are willing to share vast amounts of knowledge, all you have to do it post a question and you will get suggestions from the best quilters in the world.
