A friend of mine told me about this site this afternoon - she loves it and recommended it for learning all kinds of new stuff. have been quilting for 23 years and enjoy the process immensley (sp). My husband passed away 5 weeks ago and haven't done too much in that time frame but definitely plan to get a move on and finish some projects.

Welcome from Tacoma, Washington! I'm so very sorry about your husband. While I do make quilt tops, I have rarely completed the quilt (quilting it). That said, I am known as the bag lady here as I make lots of purses, totes and wallets! I may have even converted some....

I make a lot of things, but mostly quilts, table runners and machine embroidered items.

Thank you so much for the kind words and inspiration have all ready gained from reading some of the posts. As I stated in my first post, I need to finish several on-going projects before starting any new ones. Although that could change as am currently gathering fabrics for Bonnie Hunters mystery quilt this year. I get Block magazine and have noted several that I want to do as well - that's what keeps all of us going.
