Greetings to everyone from the Cumberland Plateau in TN!

I just recently discovered this forum via YouTube. I was looking for some pointers on doing the binding on a quilt and needed some "visual" instructions! I found the great tips from the Missouri Star Quilt Co. and then was anxious to see what their online store was like, and from there found this forum! I am looking forward to finding all it has to offer.
I'm pretty new at this quilting stuff...been doing it for about 3 years now. I truly enjoy creating something from nothing--well from fabric that is. Getting an idea in my head or being inspired by a pattern that I fall in love with...it just makes me smile all over inside! I'm so happy to know that there's lots of others out there that get that same happy feeling when walking through a quilt shop or find a great new one online....like MSQC!!!

Welcome!! Where exactly is the Cumberland Plateau? I am in N. AL and we go into TN all the time!!

I'm north of Cookeville (which is on I-40 between Nashville and Knoxville). Out in the country in the rolling hills! My sister is from Alabama-closer to Montgomery...so we're down there quite a lot!
