New Member from S W England needing help please!

Hi there, I am sewing a large quilt, 7 blocks by 7 rows. I do not have the space to lay it out in order to sandwich it and quilt it so am sewing it as four separate quilts which will then need to be joined together....Any advice on how best to do this much appreciated ..... Thanking you.

Welcome from Kansas! I'm not sure I can help since I've never done anything like that, but I know there are quilt as you tutorials out there. You might try googling that. It sounds like you are basically trying to quilt as you go, only with much larger blocks. Hope someone has a better answer for you!

Hello from West Yorkshire. Can't help unfortunately, just thought I'd say hello.
There are a lot of very knowledgeable and friendly quilters on here, so I'm sure someone will be able to help.

Welcome from Florida. Someone will probably have more info for you about joining the sections of your quilt together.

Welcome from MA! QAYG (Quilt As You Go) is probably your best bet. There are various methods to achieve that.

Try youtube for videos on how to do this. There is a one that someone did using Georgia Bonesteel's method.
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Not the best quality but it will give you an idea of how it's done. I have never tried it but I have seen demos at quilt expos

Here is a technique you could use if sashing will look good between the sections of your quilt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji8BLS2rNHA

Hi again, have just watched the series of videos and I think this is the answer... my daughter and I had pondered this and come up with a similar method but not as good! This is also similar to Quilt As You Go joining blocks.
                            Thank you once again.
