Hi there, I am sewing a large quilt, 7 blocks by 7 rows. I do not have the space to lay it out in order to sandwich it and quilt it so am sewing it as four separate quilts which will then need to be joined together....Any advice on how best to do this much appreciated ..... Thanking you.

Welcome from Kansas! I'm not sure I can help since I've never done anything like that, but I know there are quilt as you tutorials out there. You might try googling that. It sounds like you are basically trying to quilt as you go, only with much larger blocks. Hope someone has a better answer for you!

Try youtube for videos on how to do this. There is a one that someone did using Georgia Bonesteel's method.
Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.
Not the best quality but it will give you an idea of how it's done. I have never tried it but I have seen demos at quilt expos“What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world, is and remains immortal.”

Here is a technique you could use if sashing will look good between the sections of your quilt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ji8BLS2rNHAIf you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.- Zig Ziglar

Hi again, have just watched the series of videos and I think this is the answer... my daughter and I had pondered this and come up with a similar method but not as good! This is also similar to Quilt As You Go joining blocks.
Thank you once again.
