Hello! New member and a new quilter. My name is Amanda and I am from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I'm really looking forward to looking around here and learning. The quilt I am working on right now (my first quilt) is a tee shirt quilt for my father.

Welcome yo the forum, from SW Ohio.... I bet it gets really, really cold in yiur neck of the wooded, come winter...

What are you doing, for yiur first quilt? We'd love to see pictures...

It is VERY cold in the winter, almost always below zero and so much snow! But I am used to it as I have been here all my life. Really enjoying the summer.

I am working on a tee shirt quilt for my dad (Queen size, taking a long time) and I just finished this quilt top a few days ago:
