Re: Hi
Welcome from Texas. Glad to have you join us. I still work full time, so don't have as much time to quilt as I'd like. Enjoy your passion.

Re: Hi
Welcome from Ohio! I'm rather new to quilting but have been sewing for a very long time too. My son lives in northern California, near Santa Rosa - beautiful area there. Welcome to the forum - you will find lots of good advice and encouragement here. We'd love to see some of your projects!

Hi
My name is Linda (the teddy300 refers to the teddy bears I used to make), I am 68 and have been sewing for more years than I care to count! I started quilting about 10 years ago and haven't stopped. I have no children of my own but 3 lovely step daughters and 4 grandchildren. I'm originally from Tennessee, lived in Hawaii for 14 years and now reside in Northern California with my DH of 7 married years +21 other years. Fortunately my husband is very tolerant because I am addicted to acquiring fabric and quilting--he sometimes asks if I am ever"coming out of my cave". I love going on quilting cruises, retreats and just sewing with a group of my friends each week (in addition to all the other time I spend in "the cave"). For the past year I have been concentrating on community service quilts for chemo patients with my local guild and quilts for the kids in Shriners Hospitals. With the traveling we are enjoying that keeps me busy. Looking forward to getting to know you all better.Tags: None
