Where in Wisconsin are you? All my family live in Waukesha. I just made my first lap quilt last week and it was really easy and fun - it took about 3-4 hours total probably,and it looks great!

Welcome!! An easy quilt for a newbie would be a basic 4 or 9 patch using charms. There are tutorials for both...Michele
