    Re: New? Read me first

Hello! I am Courtney, and I live in (snowy, right now!) Ohio. I am a beginner quilter, and was turned on to quilting by my mom-in-law. I took a "mystery quilt" class with her the day after Thanksgiving 2009, and have been loving to quilt ever since. I didn't even really know how to work my sewing machine before that class! I found Missouri Star Quilt Company on youtube, and loved the tutorials and idea videos. I placed an order with them Sunday, and can't wait to get my new fabric!

Welcome trixie! Aren't the tutorials great? They really give us some great ideas and short cuts! I have been a quilter on and off for years and recently discovered this site myself. It has inspired me to make more quilts and I hope it does the same for you! Make sure and post pictures of what you do as I love to see everyone's creativity!
      Happy Quilting!

        Re: New? Read me first

Hello! Looking over the posts of some of the other quilters, I am a relative newbie. What I lack in experience, I more than make up for in enthusiasm. I've been quilting for about a year and have already jumped in with both feet. I have been sewing for most of my life, but mostly clothes and home furnishing. Now I am totally wrapped up in my quilts! I've completed about 10, and have a huge backlog of people who want the next one. I am looking forward to meeting other quilters and sharing ideas and helpful hints.

Hi I am not sure I am doing this right, but here goes. I have had a love of quilts for a long time. I love cotton fabric especially Aunt Grace. I have been having a hard time getting serious about quilting due to just not feeling well. I am hoping this wonderful site will get me going . Thanks Betty

                  Hi,
I'm new to the forum, but I have been shopping here for a while. I started quilting in 2003, and am totally addicted. I'm working part-time now to support my habit.

Hello ya'll. I'm Danna from NC and have been enjoying quilting for the past several years. That and just making fun things for my granddaughters. I'm going broke saving money with the Daily Deal so thought I should take advantage of the wealth of information on this forum. The tutorials here are awesome and I want to try everything.

                              Hi everyone,
I'm a wife and mother of four children. Two are grown, one will graduate next year and one will be in sixth grade. I am a distance ed student of elementary ed, and I homeschool my youngest dd. I am pretty much a rookie quilter, but am completely addicted already. The MSQC tutorials have really gotten me into it. I love how easy the projects are. They are completely doable. I'm so excited I found this site!

Hi Everyone! I am sooo glad I found this website. I love to quilt, but, work and family seem to take up too much of my time. Lately I have been making quilts for the new Grandbabies. Next one is due in August, so I'm hustling to get it finished. We live in Kansas City so I hope some day to make it up to the shop. In the meantime, I will shop your store online and check the Daily Deal each morning. What a great way to start my workday! Thank you for all the informative videos, they give me so many wonderful ideas for quilts with all the precut packs I keep buying.
