    Re: New? Read me first

    Hi,
My name is Pat and I just joined the forum. I joined because of the mystery that is starting on June 27th. I can't seem to find it at this site. Any help would be appreciated. I love MSQC and enjoy the daily deals and Jenny's tutorials.
    Thanks,
    Pat

Hi my name is Sandy and I am new to this group and quilt shop. I heard about the Missouri Quilt Co from my LQS during our Saturday sampler. I've been quilting less than 10 years and enjoy making quilts and donating them. I look forward to what the forum has.

        Hi there!
I am Dorothy and I was just referred to this site from a newbie at TheQuiltingBoard.com. I am glad that she sent me the link as this site already looks easier to maneuver. I am relatively new to quilting and am looking for inspiration of all sorts!!

I am overwhelmed! Newly registered and hoping to find the instructions for the mystery quilt which should have started last Friday. Where do I go to see it????

Hi all! I'm new to the forum, have sewn for years but new to piecing... I don't know the etiquette for trying to join up with a quilting guild, and I've never had the chance to share this happy pursuit. I'm grateful for the chance to pick your brains if I'm having problems and just enjoy the fact that there are so many out there who love quilting just as much as I do. quilt with love.jpg

Hello, My name is Pat and I am new to the forum, but discovered Missouri Star Quilt Company about 7 or 8 months ago when I decided to finish a quilt that my Mom had cut out several years ago and it had never been sewn together . I did this quilt for my granddaughter and was hooked on quilting. My Mom and both of my grandmothers used to keep a quilt going all the time when we were growing up. Don't know why I had never tried it before. Needless to say, I now have made several baby quilts and unfortunately did not take pictures of them all, and now am trying to round up pictures to start an album of the quilts that I have done. I learned a valuable lesson, ALWAYS TAKE PICTURES !. Love the MSQC ! Have ordered lots of fabrics and have made two quilt tops for my sons and daughter-in-laws ( will post pictures when they are quilted). I think I have talked enough for now. Hope everyone has a wonderful day

                    Hi Everybody,
My name is Frosty and I live in Hokitika, on the West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand. I've lived here a just couple of years and joined the best little quilt shop in the west - By Hoki Quilts, to sit 'n stitch with like-minded quilty folk. I came across MSQ on YouTube looking how to make half-square triangles and haven't looked back since. I recently received my first order (by no means my last) from MSQ and absolutely love my metallic/Christmas fabric (yes I'm a hoarding magpie at heart!). I just finished a really fun project for my daughter, she helped me design a football pitch quilt for her bed (she's a goalie) and we loved the end product. My next sights are set on a Bargello I've been coveting for some time, so wish me luck :-)

Hello Everyone! I am from the beautiful state of Colorado and love it here. The only drawback is that is too far from the Missouri Star Quilt Company! I am going to have to plan a trip and hopefully attend a quilt retreat there someday soon! I love the 1930s reproduction fabrics and would love to visit the shop dedicated to those fabrics but should probably win the lottery first! I'll need the money. I have 7 wonderful grandchildren, 6 girls and 1 boy, ranging in age from 7 weeks to 6 yrs old. My only boy and his sister live in Costa Rica. Nice place to visit but I wish they didn't live there! I love Jenny and all her staff and family. The web site is so fun and I love the daily deal and the sense of fun every time you interact with this company. Love the videos- please keep them coming. I just finished a rag baby quilt made with the minky daily deal for my grand nephew. It turned out really cute! Thanks everyone at MSQC!

Hi everyone! I'm brand spanking new to the forum, although I've been quilting for...well...only a year. I work for MSQC, which is how I started sewing and got to know precuts a little better. I'm even lucky enough to live only 15 minutes from Hamilton!

I'm working on my third quilt, a lap size made from the Butter Pecan daily deal a while ago, and having fun with the Disappearing Nine Patch pattern I picked. (Thanks Jenny!) Hope it turns out ok!
Maybe I can cover those mismatched corners with a button....

Hi Deb, I'm new to the forum but just went in and read your blog posts, its great to talk to someone from NZ, I've always that I would like to visit there but probably will never have the chance. It sounds like you had a wonderful weekend with the ladies at the stitching event. I'm pretty new to the quilting myself, but got hooked in a very big way! My Mom and both of my grandmothers quilted all the time when we were growing up. It's good to make new friends and I hope to make a lot of them on the quilting forum. And, yes , I will be going back and reading your blog again
