    New Quilter

Greetings all. This is my 2nd time trying to introduce myself. My first post never seemed to have made it and if it did I missed the whole thing!

I'm new to sewing and quilting. Shortly after getting married in January my husband was diagnosed with cancer so I took up sewing, out of the blue, as a distraction and stress reliever. Somehow I've become addicted, accumlated a modest stash of fabric and now I am making a twin sized quilt on my brand new Janome 4120. I love vintage and vintage styled fabric and hope to make something beautiful one day. I'm about half way finished with my quilt top using a couple "Summer House" jelly rolls.

I hope to learn from all of you experts and novices alike. Cheers!

    Hilary
