New to MSQC, and a new Quilter!

Hi everyone! My name is April. I'm new here and new to quilting.
I am currently taking classes at Jo-Anns for quilting.

My first project, I just finished the top piece.
Now, on to learning the rest!

My next project, I will begin tomorrow. I'll be making a Cottage Rose Quilt, twin size. I'm very excited!

I think my favorite thing about quilting, is being able to make quilts personal. Picking out the colors, patterns, so much fun!

Welcome from Connecticut. Good work and love your color selection. It doesn't take long to be hooked on quilting. I'm not sure if it was the fabric or the quilting that got me. Maybe it was both. I find that FMQ [free motion quilting] is very relaxing. Have fun and welcome!
