Hi!, Our shop hops generally happen in the fall, but I will not do it because both of my children will be getting married!!!!! SO, with all I think not. My daughter has been "dating" (you can tell alot about that term...I grew up in the 60-70's.... today I think the say " together"... ) for 8 1/2 yrs, by the time they marry it will be 9 . OMG, I don't know what the wait was all about...hopefully the marriage will last, since they probably know each other pretty well.She will marry in October. My son has been dating his fiancee for 3 yrs. , he will marry in November....11/11/11 !!! It also happens to be her birthday, so if he ever forgets one he is in deep doody.
I'm looking forward to be in this group....I don't do facebook...I think it is a waste of time, at least this I feel there is some conversations, not just blurps of menutia. I don't have the time for that. No offense to anyone who does it...... "what eva".

Hi Ruth!
Are you doing the local shop hop out there the weekend of June 11th'ish? My girlfriend lives in Uniontown (I live above Harrisburg) and last year we hit about 7 or 8 of the shops. It took us 2 days, but was great fun! Unfortunately, we can't do the hop this year.

Hi, I have been reading posts for a while so it is time for an intro. We live in western PA about an hour north of Pittsburgh. I have been quilting for over 20 years. I like patchwork pieceing, applique and hand quilting. I also like and collect Featherweight sewing machines. Glad to be a member of your group. Ruth
