Hey from Texas. My name is Kathie, but I am known here as Miasmommy. She is a long haired piebald daschund and my shadow. I am a retired teacher. I have always sewn clothes, but took a quilting class and learned hand quilting about 10 years ago. After seeing Jenny's wonderful tuts I gave up hand quilting immediately! My husband (of 44 years) still works so I have lots of time to quilt and love it. Am working on a graduation quilt for my grandson. Excited about it. Love reading this forum.
