Know basics, not a quillter

Even though I have made 2 jelly roll quilts and even used a long arm to quilt them, I do not consider myself a true quilter. Why? you ask. Knowing the basics does not make a quilter! I love to cross stitch and love fabric. It was the jelly roll race that had me saying "I can do that" and so 2 jelly roll quilts later I am starting a Texas Flag quilt using 5 inch squares.

I don't know much about Texas, but my daughter lives near Houston with her fiance', so I'll be visiting on occasion. I'm sure you'll consider yourself a fine quilter in no time! Great forum ladies & gentlemen we have here that will happily give you tips and things when you ask.
