    Praise be the Duck!

Hello...I'm a 35 year old guy from England. My mum watches a lot of your videos and although I don't know much about quilting, I am definitely a big fan of the Duck that quacks at the beginning.

I thought maybe I could come on here and start a Missouri Duck Fan Club...

Welcome from Glasgow. .. I think we all love the duck. Why don't you join in ? We have a few men here who quilt.

Welcome to the forum. The funny part of the whole thing is that it's actually a chick (peep) that quacks like a duck.

Yep - it's a little fuzzy yellow baby chick(en) that quacks like a duck. But a Duck Fan Club might work .......... wonder what you'd get if you crossed a chicken with a duck? I've heard of turducken, and even seen one out of the oven.

Guess something similar would work ... Ducken?!?!?!?

okay . . . . I've learned my one new thing for the day. Never knew that.

Thank you for all the welcomes

Hmm, so if it doesn't look like a duck but quacks like a duck...I wonder what it swims like? Two out of three might not be bad.

As for quilting, well I did 'design' a patchwork quilt once, however I gave my mum the honour of assembling it for me. I doubt that I would be allowed near her sewing machine - it would be much too dangerous in my hands.

I did rather think she might make an appearance in this thread and insult me, but so far she's a no-show....

Well you are a dope, but I would let you play on my sewing machine if you wanted. I would be standing by with bandages though for when you put the needle through your fingers.

You could always watch Jenny's tutorials and have a go.
