I live in SE Wisconsin. I made my first quilt top about 5 yrs ago by taking a class at my local Joann Fabrics store. It is a queen size and was a big first project. I haven't gotten around to having it quilted yet. My bed has a blanket only because I keep telling myself that the money I save by not buying a decent cover could go towards the cost of having it long armed. Yeah, if I would just stop buying more fabric and making more tops, etc. I know many of you can relate to that! I am looking forward to reading and learning new ideas on the forum threads. I love MSQC.

Welcome from Orlando. I got my start at a Joanns class too. Except, after I did my first quilt it was about 5 years later that I got hooked and am now addicted to fabric. You will love it here.
