    Sanity at last

Ok maybe I'm not that far gone BUT I do love working on my quilts . I've had numerous medical problems over the last 7 year s and lost sight in one eye. Thank the God Lord I can see to sew!
At age 62 (how did I get that old?), I have a DH & a daughter,38who has an 18 year old daughter, & son, 39, who has a 1st grader and 4th grader (girls).

I crochet and have always sewn for my children. I took up machine embroidery recently...love it as well as embroideryaswel by hand.

The quilting is really fun. I am a retired music teacher. A lot of principles for music work for quilting.

I'm so glad to have found you.

Oh, I'm from Northwestern Iowa. Go Cyclones!

    Re: Sanity at last

Welcome from central Missouri. I retired a year ago last January due to health problems. Quilting is a great way to enjoy the time and make some really great treasures.

U all are so friendly. After teaching rooms full of children, I seem to get lonely. Thanks for the welcome.
