    Hello from El Paso, Texas

Hello from El Paso, Texas. I have been sewing since I was 21 years old, but didn't start to quilt until both of my daughters went to college. When anyone asked me if I had "empty nest syndrome", I could honestly say, "no, I'm too busy quilting!" lol. I also do machine embroidery, which I love. I have made everything from queen size quilts to baby bibs. I decided to join this forum because I just love the MSQC, don't you? Every time I see a new tutorial, I think I just have to make this one too!!! One of my favorite things to make, has been the zig zag table runner. I have made tons of them. And everytime I make a new one and show photos of it, somebody asks me to make them one! I am going to attach my latest one that I made for St. Patrick's Day. I hope you enjoy it. I always make them reversible, so the back side of this one is ombre butterflies. Linda100_6958.jpg100_6960.jpg

Linda, that is darling, I love it. Welcome from Utah, I think you're going to love it here. Jenny's tutorials got me hooked about a year ago. She had me giggling and thinking that just maybe I could do some of the things she was teaching us, she really does make quilting reachable for so many more people with her quick and relatively easy methods and her cheerful, 'can do' attitude.

Hello from Wisconsin. Funny you should post today -we just got the official invite from our son at Ft. Bliss to come down to visit. We have train tickets for a couple of weeks from now. Do tell all the good places to buy fabric. I'll have to see if we can get the car away from our son for the day and try to hit them all...

                              Hi Linda,
I love the runners. Is there a pattern for these or did you create this yourself. I have to have instructions for everything I do or tutorials on line. If there is a pattern can you advise where I can purchase it.
                              Thanks
