Hi. I am from UK , now living in Japan over 15 years
. Just started quilting after I decided to use some gorgeous fat quarters that I had bought over 10 years ago at the Tokyo Quilt Festival!. Went again this year and was totally inspired to give it a go.
Found MSQ online, I love Jenny's tutorials and now I am addicted to it. I usually have a cat or two sat around trying to help as I sew. I was worried about the quilting part after the 'fun part' of putting the design together, but I managed quilting in the ditch on my first single quilt and loved trying free motion quilting on a small table topper. (inspired by Leah Day's tutorials) Fabric expensive and not such a range as the Us, so asking friends to bring me jelly rolls/charm packs back with them when they visit the US
