Quilters love quilters
Hi I am Barbara,a quilter.
I live on Lake Conroe in Texas. I am a member of a small (6) band of rogue quilters calling ourselves the LOL Quilters..mostly because we laugh out loud a lot! We get together every Wednesday from 9:30 to 2:30 and share the day.
We are all loving Jenny's tutorials and precuts.
4 times a year we give fleece tied throws to a charity camp for 16 kids at risk, ages 12-16 . We used to give lap quilts but this task got a little overwhelming!
Once a year we host a fund raiser lunch for Salvation Army Angel Tree project. As a group we make a special quilt as a door prize. We raise about $4,000.00 each year and make a homemade meal for over 50 ladies.
