Hi!
My name is Tammy, I am 42 years old and I live in Arizona. My husband is the love of my life and we share our home with two very large St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees mixes (Bruno and Rufus). I have been sewing since my Home Ec teacher taught me to sew in high school and I have not looked back. I soon discovered regular sewing and making a quilt sewing are two different animals, but I wanted to get into quilting and my mom and I needed something to do together, so we took a beginner's quilting class at a local shop. We both finished our quilts this past week and they turned out beautifully.
I have watched EVERY video tutorial I could get my eyes on that featured Jenny at the MSQC and I feel like she is my new best friend. I watched her Jelly Roll Race last night (for the umpteenth time) and laughed and laughed. After watching her do that, I figured I could do it and since I just happened to have a package of Bali Pop batiks on hand, I thought, "what the heck?"
I would love to post the picture of it, but the download area keeps telling me the file is too large. If you guys have any advice in that arena, I would love to hear it so I can show that little guy off!
Anyway, I am thrilled to be part of this community and hope to meet some of you and especially Jenny one day.
Happy quilting!
